For Band Size: With your own bra on, measure snugly, not tightly, around the body just below the breast (where the band of the bra would be).  If an odd number is reached, add 5 inches to that number.  If an even number is reached, add 4 inches to that number.

Example: Odd: you measure a 29.  Add 5.  Your bra should have a 34 band size.  Even: you measure a 32.  Add 4.  Your bra should have a 36 band size.

For Cup Size: With your own bra on, measure loosely around the the fullest part of the breast from the center sternum (breast bone) to center sternum.

• If the measurement is the same as the bra size the cup size will be AA. 
• If the measurement is 1" greater than the bra size, the cup will be an A
• If the measurement is 2" greater than the bra size, the cup will be a B.
• If the measurement is 3" greater than the bra size, the cup will be a C.
• If the measurement is 4" greater than the bra size, the cup will be a D.
• If the measurement is 5" greater than the bra size, the cup will be a DD.

Example: you measure a 31 under the bust line and a 35 around the fullest part.  The difference is 4" so the cup size is a D.  The band size is 31 + 5 = 36.  The suggest size to try would be a 36D.

The sports bra should fit comfortably, yet feel supportive.  To test support, jump around a little to see if there is too much movement of the breasts.  If the breasts feel mashed together or there is excessive exposure over the top of the bra or under the arm, try a larger cup size.  If the band feels too tight to the point of discomfort, try a larger band size.  The bra should not ride up in the back.  This usually indicates you may need a smaller band size.
