TG Multisport
Club, a not for profit division of Tri Geeks
Multisport, is pleased to be organizing the 3rd
annual Walnut Grove sprint distance triathlon ( 750m
swim, 18km bike, and 5km run) in Walnut Grove,
a community of Langley BC, on August 8th, 2010.
We will again be racing to raise
funds on behalf of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
of Canada and are looking to top last years donation
of over $5,000.
We look
forward to having The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada's volunteers from The Leukemia
and Lymphoma Society's Team In Training (TNT)
program at the race again. Through their
support and dedication they prove why they are one of the world's first, best and
largest endurance sports training program. For
more than 20 years, over 420,000 people, from
beginners to seasoned athletes, have trained with
the Team to complete a full or half marathon, a
century bike ride or a triathlon. You can join
the Team In Training in the Fraser Valley or
Vancouver to help
find a cure for blood cancers.

the Walnut Grove Community Centre Pool at 8:00am.

All triathletes are required to have
Race Day TriBC Insurance. If you are
not a Triathlon BC member you must register
as a Non TriBC Member and will be charged
the race day insurance fee of $15.00 for
adults and $1.00 for KOS. Tiny Tri
athletes do not pay additional insurance
fees. |

If you are a Triathlon BC member you must
provide your TriBC member number upon
registering as well at race package pickup
to avoid being charged the $15.00 race day
insurance fee. |

Mandatory Race Package
pickup will take place at Tri Geeks
Multisport located at Unit 74 15515 24th
Ave
South Surrey on Thursday August 5th 10:00am
- 7:00pm, Friday August 6th 10:00am - 5:00pm and
at the Walnut Grove Community Centre
gymnasium located at 8889 Walnut Grove Drive on Saturday August 7th 1:00pm -
7:00pm.
All athletes are responsible for picking up
their own race package as each athlete must
sign a waiver as required by Triathlon BC
*no exceptions* If you are unable to
pick up your race package during one of the
listed times above you may, for a $10.00
non-negotiable fee payable by cash, Visa, MasterCard or
debit, pick up your race package on race
morning Sunday August 8th between 6:00am and
7:00am only. (Please note this
$10.00 charge will be donated directly to
the Leukemia Lymphoma Society).
Families (those related to and residing in
the same household) will only be charged the
$10.00 race morning package pick up fee once
for all family members participating.
Athletes residing outside of the Greater
Vancouver Regional District may pick up
their race packages on race morning between
6:00 and 7:00 am as well without incurring
the $10.00 fee. (Please
note: you must live past Chilliwack, West
Vancouver, the USA border or equivalent distances). |

bike and helmet checks at their store August
1 - 7, 2010. Bike checks are not
mandatory but it is each athlete's
responsibility to ensure their equipment is
in good working condition. Velocity

All KOS and Tiny Tri athletes will receive a
finishers medal. KOS athletes are also
eligible for draw prizes. KOS awards
will take place upon completion of all KOS
events in the gymnasium of the Walnut Grove
Pool. Adult awards will take place at
the finish line upon completion of the adult
event. Medals and prizes will be
awarded to the top 3 male and female
athletes in each age category. All
athletes are eligible for draw prizes. |
